Floyd is all plugged up134 viewsWe tried to get the two furnaces in sync so that we could pour a mold for Tamsie Ringler that was over 100# by slowing down floyds melt. The result was a mess Floyd Chilled down too much and pluged up leaving us with a 100# ++ plug of cast iron and unburnt coke clogging the furnace. Ah well at least we got a few good taps out of him before he was done for the night. I will try to add a picture of the plug after I removed it from floyd soon. It is one heavy chunk of Cast.
